We stayed there years ago for two nights, but because of a big wedding were not allowed (!) in the formal restaurant. It's a gorgeous place, but I would check out beforehand if you're going to actually be able to use the whole resort.
Wonderfully located for those wanting to be just enough away from Granada and the coast. There's a high-speed train near Loja (10 minutes away) that goes to and from Madrid and Granada. (Need to confirm that Granada train is one of the newer high-speed trains.) A lot in the way of outdoor activities, such as horseback riding (you can ride alone, which is a rare treat), ATVs, bikes, etc. Charming property overall with very unique and authentic accommodations. The food ranged from okay to very good, not excellent, although the service was always attentive and friendly. The Finca Restaurant was their finer dining, although it was connected to their other restaurant, and the waitstaff ran back and forth. The food was similar at both restaurants as well and didn't provide enough of a variety to hold my interest for more than a few days. Even the Classic Rooms had large sitting areas and most all rooms have balconies, some with solariums. Room category alone isn't the best means of determining the best available room. Ask for their staff favorites.
